Privacy

This site sets no cookies and has no accounts, newsletter or contact form.

What is counted

• Page views through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not build profiles of visitors.
• Clicks on partner links (the /go/ links): we count which link was clicked, from which page and the country of the request, as reported by Cloudflare. No IP address or identifier is stored with the count.

Tools on the site

The trip cost calculator, quiz, ferry board, wildlife bingo and month guide run in your browser. What you enter is not sent to us. The bingo card may remember your ticks in your own browser's storage so they are still there next time; you can clear them with the reset button.

When you follow a partner link

GetYourGuide, Viator, TourRadar, Booking.com (via Stay22) and Klook have their own privacy policies and cookies, which apply once you are on their sites.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
